Beschreibung
The Chair of Information Systems IV, headed by Prof. Dr. Alexander Mädche, focuses on Enterprise Systems. Building on packaged software products, Enterprise Systems represent complex socio-technical systems involving individuals, groups, organizations and business networks.
We follow an interdisciplinary research approach investigating the lifecycle and novel concepts of Enterprise Systems. Our comprehensive education program comprising the bachelor, master, PhD and executive MBA level introduces the foundations of Enterprise Systems and provides insights into the state-of-the-art in research. Practical relevancy of our research is driven by the associated Institute of Enterprise Systems (InES) which targets the collaboration with industry.
